WHAT WE BELIEVE

At Salvation Pentecost Christian Church (SPCC), our faith is founded on the Word of God and centered on Jesus Christ.

The Bible

We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and the foundation for our faith, teaching, and Christian life.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ came from Heaven, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and is alive forevermore.

Matthew 1:18–25; John 3:16; Matthew 28:1–20

Salvation

We believe Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and that salvation is received by God’s grace through faith in Him.

Water Baptism

We believe in baptism by full immersion in water as a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit empowers, guides, comforts, and equips believers to live according to God’s will and serve Him faithfully.

One True God

We believe in one true God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, who alone deserves our worship.

Marriage and Christian Living

We believe marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and that believers are called to live holy, faithful, and modest lives according to biblical teaching.

Holy Communion

We believe in observing the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for us.

Church Ministry and Leadership

We believe every believer has a place in the work of God and is called to use their gifts in service to Christ according to biblical teaching and the order of SPCC.

The Return of Christ

We believe Jesus Christ will return for His Church and that believers will be with Him forever.

We believe in the resurrection of the dead and that every person will stand before God and give an account of their life.
